Awards & Accolades

Parshwanath Vidyapeeth is known for its original and quality research in Jainology. A few faculty members and research scholars of Vidyapeeth have been awarded for their outstanding contributions to the Jainology. Noted among them are as under:

1. Prof. Sagrmal Jain 
(i) Acharya Hasti Smriri Puraskar by Samyakgyan Pracharaka Mandal, Jaipurt for significant contribution in the field of Philosophy, Culture and Literature. (ii) Pradeep Kumar Rampuria Puraskar on the Book ‘Jaina Bauddha Aura Geeta Ke Achara Darshano Ka Tulanatmaka Adhyayayana.

2. Prof. Sudarshan Lal Jain 
UP Govt. has awarded a Special prize on the research work in the year 1971-72 and on the books, DEVA SHASTRA AURA GURU, Muni Suvrata Kavya’ and Dravyasangrah in the years 1993-94, 1996-97 and 2000-2001 respectively. Uttaradhyayana-Sutra : Ek Parishilana”, Published by PV Research Institute, BHU, Varanasi (1970) Uttar Pradesh Government Award by U.P. Sanskrit Academy in 1970-71

3. Dr. S. P. Pandey 
Lala Harjas Rai Jain Puraskar (Rs. 5000/=) for publishing maximum titles as Publication Officer in 1998.

4. Dr. Navin Kumar Srivastav 
(i) Sahityacharya Dr. Pannalal Jain Smriti Yuva Chintak Puraskar for the paper “TRIRATNA”, Akhil Bhartiya Darshan Parishad, Jammu-2009.
(ii) Yuva Chiantak Puraskar from Kashi Vidvat Parishad, Varanasi - 2010

5. Dr. Rahul Kumar Singh
(i) Sahityacharya Dr. Pannalal Jain Yuva Chintak Puraskar-2005 for the article, ”Anekantvad Ki Awadharana’’ by Akhil Bhartiya Darshan Parisad, Jabalppur. 
(ii) Third Prize in Advanced course of PRAKRITI Language & Literature-2007 by N.K. Charitable Foundation B.L.I.I., New Delhi.

6. Dr. Madhulika Singh 
Muni Punya Vijaya Smriti Purasakara for her paper read at All India Oriental Conference, Bhubaneshwar (2002).

7. Dr. Shivprasad -Smbodhi Life time Award 
(of Rs. 11,000.00) for his monumental work “Gacchon ka Itihasa’ by Sambodhi Sansthana, Ahmedabad (2003).
